The Tenses Amnesia
We all must have learnt 'tenses' is our
school times. Past, Present and Future tenses. But here's the sad part; Did we
understood the meanings of it?
No! Am I right or am I right? Tenses are
the form of verbs (actions) which took place in past, present or future. Though
we all have learnt these tenses in our school times we unfortunately have
forgotten the literal meanings of it. And, it's okay to forget.
(here-song-plays-young-dumb-and-broke-by-Khalid) So here's a quick revision of tenses;
'Past tense' means actions or activities which is 'done' in the past. For
example - We smiled. Here the action is 'already' done. 'Present tense' means
actions or activities which is right 'now' going on. For example - We are
smiling. (smile-please) Here the action is currently going on :) And finally,
'Future tense' means actions which we 'will' do in future. For example - We
will smile. Now, here's may-I-need-your-kind-attention-part; Are we smiling
right now? Are we living in the present? We're living in the present but just
for the sake of the body. Our minds are actually living in the past or roaming in
future. Often we are thinking about past events, traumas and people in our
lives. But hey! remember, "Past tense' means actions or activities which
are 'already done' in the past. We cannot change anything. It's done!" As
Master himself says, 'why to scratch the unhealed wounds of the injury.'
Meditation
will not only be that first-aid antibiotic ointment which will heal our wounds
of the injury but also it will make us live in the present moment. The moment
where we are just-beautifully-smiling at each other. Meditation will be that 'wonderful teacher' who will make
us realize and understand the very 'fail-to-remember' tenses lessons. So come,
let's enter into the class of this 'wonderful teacher.'
